Use AntiVirus Software
You should have an anti-virus program installed on your home computer.
Staff are licenced to use QUT’s corporate virus protection software
at home. QUT staff can obtain a copy for home use by following the link below.
Download Symantec AntiVirus for Home Use For your office computer, Symantec Antivirus version 10 software comes as part of
the Standard Operating Environment and should already
be installed on your machine. You can identify that Symantec Antivirus is running on your PC by the shield displayed in the  system tray.
To determine the version of Symantec Antivirus you have currently installed on your PC:
- Double Click on the Symantec Antivirus shield displayed in the system tray. Or navigate via the start menu to Start \ All Programs \ QUT Software \ Utilities \ Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition
- Click on Help, then About Symantec Antivirus...
- The following dialogue will be displayed, for the current version of Symantec AntiVirus (10.0.1.1000).
