The Curwen Results system collects and collates student assessments or marks. Staff at QUT may use this system to send students' marks to the University student record systems (SIS or Callista). The Curwen Results system generates listings of student final results for return to the Examinations system. SAS is a decision support and data warehousing software suite that provides
tools for analytical solutions, data mining, business visualization, rapid applications
development, and more. SPSS is a statistical analysis and data management system in a graphical environment,
using descriptive menus and simple dialog boxes to do most of the work for you. Nudist is a research application that provides tools for managing documents, creating ideas and managing categories, and asking questions and building and testing theories about the data. Nvivo is another application used to facilitate qualitative research and assist in collecting and analysing data. Endnote provides assists in referencing and creating bibliographies. Included in Endnote is an online search tool, reference database and a bibliography maker. Amos is an accurate and comprehensive modeling tool. Amos provides powerful structural equation modeling with a graphical environment for every step of the modeling process. SigmaPlot is graphing software capable of producing high-quality graphs. SigmaPlot
offers seamless Microsoft Office integration, so that data may be accessed from
Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and results presented in Microsoft PowerPoint®
presentations. The PalmPilot software that connects a PalmPilot PDA to a computer. Steltor Conduit is a plugin for the PalmPilot that synchronises QUT services such as the QUT Diary to a PalmPilot PDA. Publisher XP is a desktop publishing application used for creating print material such as brochures, posters and pamplets.
