QUT Global Roaming Service allows QUT staff who travel to use their laptop computer to connect to QUT's IT services (e.g. QUT Virtual, Calendar, Email, Blackboard, Library Catalogue, Online databases, file and print services etc.) by dialing a local number to avoid expensive international calls.

QUT Global Roaming Service also allows QUT staff who travel to use their mobile phone overseas to make and receive calls from QUT and Australia, fellow travellers and also from people within the country where they are travelling.

Alternatively, eduroam could be a 'no cost' option for connecting to QUT's IT services. Note: this would only apply if you are visiting a participating institution.
