Each year the HPC & Research Support Group send out a short survey to registered users of their services,
which include QUT Central facilities such as Sirius (QUT's HPC system), seminars, training, software (e.g. Matlab) labs for researchers which have a range of workstations and other facilities (e.g. data visualisation, 3D scanning, colour printing, PC's), access grid, consultation and assistance.
From the information supplied, the HPC & Research Support Group can assess their performance for each year and ways to improve their services. Also detailed below are the Data Analysis and Statistical training satisfaction results for training sessions provided by Ray Duplock.
The majority of survey results have praised the excellent service provided by the HPC & Research Support Group. Several comments have also been made about upgrading the facilities, providing more storage space for researchers and providing additional training. Our facilities are regularly upgraded
and maintained so that we can continue to provide cutting edge hardware, software and services for students and researchers.
