Conferences hosted at QUT

For QUT-hosted conferences, the IT Services Department can provide conference organisers and their delegates with access to a range of IT services. These services may include access to the QUT wireless network and the Internet.

To access these services you need to complete and submit the form below at least 14 working days before the conference commencement date. This will allow us to:

  • gain the necessary approvals (support is only available for QUT-hosted conferences)
  • check that there is adequate infrastructure and wireless coverage if required.
  • set up the necessary computing accounts and access
  • supply the local conference IT support officers with delegate instructions and account details (See example of account list and delegate information sheet PDF).

This person will the QUT representative for the conference and responsible for the recording of all conference delegates against their allocated conference account in the assigned spreadsheet. This is essential for Information Facility Rules auditing.
